Viper 2.5" ID coilover springs are built for off-road suspension applications where consistent spring rate, durability, and resistance to sag are important. Designed for use with 2.0" coilover shocks, these springs are available in multiple lengths, spring rates, and colors to help you properly set up your suspension.

Built for Consistent Performance

Viper springs are manufactured from high-tensile Chrome Silicon steel and designed using modern spring-engineering software. CNC-controlled winding helps maintain consistent specifications from spring to spring.

Each spring is cold wound, set to its specified free length, shot peened, powder coated, and marked with its spring rate, length, and inner diameter for easy identification.

Spring Rate -  Choose spring rates depending on spring length.

Understanding Viper Spring Sizing

Viper springs are identified by:

Inner Diameter × Free Length × Spring Rate

For example:

3.0 × 16 × 300

Means:

3.0" inner diameter
16" free length
300 lb/in spring rate

Spring Length Guidelines

F-O-A recommends total spring length of at least twice the shock travel. For dual-rate setups, a common starting point is a main spring approximately 2" longer than the shock travel and a tender spring approximately 2" shorter, depending on the required spring rates and suspension setup.
