Viper 3.0" ID Coilover Springs
$65.00
Premium Chrome Silicon Coilover Springs for 2.5" Shocks
Viper 3.0" ID coilover springs are designed for off-road suspension applications that require consistent spring rate, durability, and dependable performance. Built for use with 2.5" coilover shocks, these springs are available in multiple lengths, spring rates, and colors to help fine-tune ride height, suspension balance, and overall handling.
Built for Consistent Performance
Viper springs are manufactured from high-tensile Chrome Silicon steel, selected for strength, durability, and resistance to sag over time.
Each spring is produced using CNC-controlled manufacturing processes for consistent dimensions and spring rates. Springs are cold wound, set to their specified free length, shot peened, powder coated, and marked with the spring rate, length, and inner diameter for easy identification.
When Choosing Your Spring Select your:
Spring Length - Available in multiple lengths to fit a variety of off-road suspension setups.
Spring Rate - Choose spring rates depending on spring length.
Color - Black or Red
Understanding Viper Spring Sizing
Viper springs are identified by:
Inner Diameter × Free Length × Spring Rate
For example:
3.0 × 16 × 300
Means:
3.0" inner diameter
16" free length
300 lb/in spring rate
Spring Length Guidelines
For coilover suspension setups, total spring length should generally be at least twice the shock travel.
For dual-rate applications, a common starting point is to use a main spring approximately 2" longer than the shock travel and a tender spring approximately 2" shorter, depending on the suspension setup and required spring rates.
Fitment Note
3.0" ID Viper springs are designed for 2.5" coilover shocks.
Important
Spring selection depends on vehicle weight, suspension geometry, shock travel, intended use, and current suspension setup. If you are unsure which spring length or rate is right for your application, contact Bandit UTV Suspension before ordering.
